Sustainability

An interactive web site that lets Ottawa residents track and reduce their carbon footprint. Sign up as a member of the CCOC community and compare your footprint to other tenants’ as well as to other citizens in Ottawa.
Local Food

Transportation

Waste Reduction

Call the City at 3-1-1 or 613-580-2400 for all your recycling and Take it Back! questions.
The City of Ottawa’s Take it Back! Program diverts more than 400 tonnes of waste from city landfills each year. You can take over 100 different products back to the shop that sold them, including expired medication, batteries, and used tires.
